Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) is offering the ‘Sheeghra Darshana’ programme at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) as part of its package tour.

Based on KSTDC’s request, TTD has increased the number of Sheeghra Darshana tickets under the preference-based tickets scheme to 200. In turn, KSTDC has increased the number of luxury air-conditioned buses plying to Tirupati daily to four (three from Bengaluru and one from Mysuru), said KSTDC Managing Director Kumar Pushkar.

The buses start from Bengaluru at 9.30 pm from Badami House and reach Tirupati early the next morning. Guests are taken to Mangapura temple and later to Lord Balaji temple, where the darshana is arranged without having to stand in a long queue. They then return to Bengaluru by evening. The package costs
Rs 1,900 per person and is inclusive of everything except food and beverages.
