Varshith, who aspires to be an aeronautical engineer, however, is not sure which college to join for PUC. Varshith’s brother and sister, who study in Class VIII, are twins and the family lives in Hosakerehalli. “We work day and night to send them to school,” said V Gopal, his father. Varshith’s mother is a homemaker. Varshith said his parents have been always been supportive of his efforts.
“He wants to do engineering, we will avail a loan and make him study. We are not educated, at least my children should study well,” said Gopal, who lamented that he could only study till Class X.
Varshith likes to play cricket during his leisure hours. Although he usually participates in inter-school activities, he said he could not take part in any this year due to the exams.
