IAF tradesmen pass out from Jalahalli

The tradesmen from various trades held an impressive marching parade that was reviewed by Air Commodore P M Katti, command flying training officer of HQ training command.

After receiving the guard the of honour at the passing out parade, the reviewing officer gave away the best all rounder, best in general service training and best in trade trophies to the passing out air warriors at the event.

The best all rounder trophy was awarded to LAC D R Singh, a electrical fitter and best in general service training trophy was awarded to A C Rohit Kumar, a communication technician at the Air Force.

Subedar Ignace Tirky of Madras Engineer Group (MEG) and Centre, who was recently awarded the Padmashree was felicitated by his alma mater. Subedar Ignace Tirky was greeted with a rousing welcome by his colleagues in the MEG at Ulsoor Lake here.
