He has also marked a copy of the complaint to the Indian Film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC), which in turn has sought a clarification from Neeraj Pandey, the-producer of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. The IFTPC has asked Pandey to submit a reply to Tiwari's petition within three days. In case if he fails to revert  then the disputes settlement committee will look into the matter.

Jaipur based film maker Tiwari who wants song to be removed told media, "We were shocked to see similar lyrics used by the director of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Picturisation of the song we have already used in our movie Laadli has been replicated in the movie. The team should have informed us even if they wanted to replicate something. But now we want the removal of the scene.
