A woman, who was admitted to the KMC Hospital in Manipal three days ago with H1N1, died on Sunday.
The deceased is Nagaratna Shaniyara Mogera (35), a native of Karikal village in Bhatkal taluk.
Two children from the district, who were admitted to the hospital, have tested positive for H1N1. A 20-month-old from Pavinakurva of Honnavar taluk and a one-year-old from Manki are undergoing treatment. A medical officer has been sent to the hospital to gather details, District Health Officer Dr Ashok Kumar told DH.
