Raghunandan, Swathi triumph

Raghunandan, who held a one-point lead heading into the final round, defeated Pranav G Reddy to emerge champion with 7.5 points while Swathi, despite drawing her final match against Aditi N Rao, took the girls crown after finishing the tournament with 5.5 points.

Ankit Varun J and Hanan Rouf -- the boys’ and girls’ runners-up -- will join Raghunandan and Swathi to represent Karnataka in the upcoming National championships.
