The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Hubballi chapter will organise a series of lectures on the topic, 'Teenagers Health Awareness, & Awareness on Blue Game  Challenging Game', in all the High Schools and PU Colleges in Hubballi from October 9 (Monday).

On October 9, the lectures will be held at the Rotary High School in Adarsh Nagar in the City, and based on the time schedules fixed by various schools and colleges, the lectures will be held.

Informing this to media persons here on Friday, Indian Medical Association Hubballi Chapter President G B Sattur said, the lectures provide information on eating habits, physical activities, management of biological problems, and life-style modification.

On this occasion, he urged the government to direct all the schools and colleges in the State to provide separate sports ground facility, and to maintain the good health of students.

The parents should control the rebellious attitude of their children who are between the age of 13 to 19 years, and not to provide android phones to children below the age of 20 years.

He called upon the principals of schools and colleges to form a separate committee to look after the problems of youngsters.

Dr Sattur demanded the government to withdrawn some of the stringent laws, which have been enforced on doctors.

Speaking on occasion, IMA Hubballi Chapter Vice-president Abhay Matkar stated that the behavioural changes of students and children should be noticed by both parents and teachers.

He also said, parents and teachers should give positive alternatives to children, to help them to come out of stress and confusions.
