A middle-aged couple, who were comfortably placed, met a gory end when the husband in a fit of anger axed his wife, informed his son about the crime and then slit his own throat.
The incident happened in Dharmaram village of Maddur block in Siddipet district of Telangana, late Monday night.
According to Mahender, ACP, Husnabad, the couple, Anandadasu Uppalaiah (62) and his wife Sathavva (50), had an argument over a petty issue. The couple had no earlier marital discord and were happily married with three daughters and two sons, all well settled and living in Hyderabad.
