Rains cool North Karnataka districts

Hubli and Belgaum Cities experienced rains for over half-an-hour, accompanied by gusting winds and lightning. Some trees were also uprooted in Belgaum and branches of a few trees in Hubli were broken. The drizzling continued till evening. In comparison to other places, Dharwad received less rainfall.

Rains also lashed in Gadag and Haveri districts. Sirsi, Haliyal, Mundagod and Dandeli in Uttara Kannada district also received rains. Due to strong winds, power supply was disrupted for sometime. No loss of life has been reported. Rain god also showed his sympathy on Bagalkot and Bijapur districts on Thursday night. Cloudy weather prevailed on Friday also.
