Geetha to get active in politics soon

Geetha Shivrajkumar, wife of actor  Shivrajkumar, said on Sunday that she would involve herself in political activities soon, along with family responsibilities.  

She was speaking to reporters after offering tributes to the memorial of her father, former chief minister S Bangarappa, at Bangaradhama in the town along with Shivrajkumar.

Geetha said Bangarappa had taken important decisions in public life in favour of the poor and the weaker sections of the society. She said it was pertinent to educate the youth about such great leaders.

Geetha said she would involve herself actively in the politics of the district in the coming Assembly elections.
