The Tasty Tangles offers Southeast Asian cuisine

Have you ever experienced authentic street food from Southeast Asian countries in a casual ambience in Bengaluru?

Then a visit to The Tasty Tangles in the UB City mall might help. The food here is inspired from the streets of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta and other Southeast Asian countries and prepared in an open kitchen, in full view of the guests. The long wooden benches and tables are a unique set-up and ideal for families and if you are looking forward to a nice quite meal, then the sofas in the arena serve the purpose. And the most interesting and innovative part is the way one orders the food, simply by ticking the choices on the order pad.

With an amazing menu, the delight can begin with the interesting mocktail collection, the popular being the Asian Four Season — mixed mango, pineapple and kiwi juice topped with strawberry crush or the lemon cooler-blended lemon juice, sugar syrup, water and mint leaves.

The Grass Court cocktail-white rum with apple juice and green apple syrup or the Caipiroska-vodka on muddled lemon wedges and mint leaves is a must try.
To start with appetisers, the crispy-fried vegetable spring rolls or the crispy shrimp dumplings are a good option along with the curry laksa with chicken and prawn soup.

Also, the crispy duck wantons or the Chayote papaya salad taste equally good.

The Nasi Goreng Kampong and the Kung Pao chicken with egg noodles simply remain with you for a long time. The Bakmi Goreng with chicken and prawns and the Shanghai Lamb noodles is a treat for those who do not mind a little spice. But the most preferred choice amongst the patrons is the Lamb Rendang and the Roasted Duck (Singapore style).

To end a perfect meal, you can go for the mango pudding with vanilla ice-cream or the Sumatra chocolate and coconut pot for desserts.
