Awards are given to farmers who have made their unique contribution in practising integrated agriculture, organic farming, crop diversification, efficient utilisation of water and other categories.
Each of the categories carry first, second and third prizes. The first prize carries a cash award of Rs 1 lakh, second prize carries Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 is awarded to those securing the third place. For more details contact the Assistant Agriculture Director.
