Siddaramaiah tells BSY to respect CM's post

Last Updated 19 December 2017, 18:42 IST

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has suggested BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa to give respect to chief minister's position if not to the person occupying the post.

Speaking at a convention organised as part of "Sadhana Sambhrama" here on Tuesday, Siddaramaiah said that Yeddyurappa had become disillusioned and hence was abusing him in the singular. "This is not the language befitting a person who is a former chief minister. It does not matter whether he respects me or not. But, let him have some respect for the chief minister's post," he said. The chief minister added that the language used by BJP leaders only shows their culture.
