Gionee launches 'S10 Lite' in India for Rs 15,999

Gionee India, part of leading Chinese handset maker Gionee, on Friday launched its selfie-centric "S10 Lite" for Rs 15,999 in  India.

Gionee  "S10 Lite" sports 16MP  selfie  camera with "group selfie" and "bokeh selfie" features. The handset comes with a 13MP primary camera with auto-focus (AF) and  flash and will be available in gold and black colours from December 23.

Commenting on the launch, Gionee India Global Sales Director David Chang said Gionee is a leader of the Selfie revolution and with the S10 Lite the company aims to reinforce its brand proposition of Super Selfie – Super Battery.

"By strengthening our S Series we aim to not only further enhance the brand's connection with young consumers but also keep up with the growing demand for high quality smartphones with superior photography capabilities,"he said.

Gionee India has also joined hands with PayTm and Jio to announce an exciting offer with this launch. Every purchase of S10 Lite will come with 2 PayTM Cashback Voucher Codes entitling customers with Rs 250 cash back on a base buy of Rs 350 from PayTM Mall.

New or existing Jio Customers who purchase S10 Lite will get 5 GB data each month for a period of 10 months on any data recharge of Rs 309 and above.

The  smartphone  is powered by a  Qualcomm  Snapdragon MSM8920 platform with 4GB  RAM  and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB.  The device houses a 3,100mAh battery and finger-print sensor.

Backed by Gionee Amigo 4.0, developed on the basis of Android 7.1, the device promises upgraded user experience powered by intelligent management system.

The S10 Lite runs on an Quad-core 1.4GHz processor gives a better performance and a less power consumption. Powered by a 4GB RAM, the S10 Lite enables smooth multitasking and easy operation, while 4GB+32GB internal storage (Expandable up to 256GB) provides ample storage space.
