The Golden Temple at Bylakuppe Tibetan settlement in the taluk, which was closed for renovation works, is open for public. According to Tsering Choedhar, managing trustee of Penor Rinpoche Charity Foundation, the renovation works have been completed and the temple will be open for people from 7 am to 7 pm every day. The temple had remained closed for six months.
