<p>Pejawar Mutt seer Vishwesha Theertha Swami met with a minor accident on his way back to Mangaluru from Mantralaya at around 9.45 pm on Friday.</p>.<p>Sources from the Mutt told <span class="italic">DH</span> that the seer, after completing Paryaya, had been to Mantralaya and was on his way to the Hyderabad airport in a car, to board the flight to Mangaluru.</p>.<p>The driver of his SUV failed to notice a hump on the road near Kurnool and applied brakes at the last moment. The seer, who already has a backbone problem, suffered a twist in his backbone.</p>.<p>The sources said the seer later reached Udupi and was referred to a hi-tech hospital at Amabalpadi Junction. Doctors have advised the seer complete bed rest.</p>
