Suraj, who struggled with his serve initially, bounced back in style to beat Delhi’s Aditya Vikram 7-5, 6-2 to set the tone for the day’s proceedings.

Prajwal, top-seeded in U-14 section, took home the top honours by crushing Shaurya Dhankar 6-4, 6-1 in the final clash.

Nayanika Reddy continued her rich vein of form nailing top-seed from Karnataka Dhruthi Venugopal in straight sets to pocket the girls’ under-14 title. The Andhra Pradesh girl won  6-0, 7-5.
