Sexual harassment slur against scientist

The city police have registered a sexual harassment case against a former junior scientist after a woman colleague registered a complaint against him saying that he touched her inappropriately.

The administrative board of a private research institute had removed Sai Kumar Padaala, the suspect, from the job for sexually assaulting the woman a month ago.

Enraged over this, Padaala went the woman's house on January 19 and threatened her.
After this, she registered a complaint against him with the Koramangala police on the same day.

Padaala, a native of Visakhapatnam and a resident of Parangipalaya in the HSR Layout for the past two years, has been absconding with his phone being switched off after the police registered a case against him.
