Hampi Kannada University Vice-chancellor Prof. Mallika S Ghanti said that this year's honorary doctorate will be conferred on renowned Sarod maestro Pandit Rajeev Taranath.
Speaking at a media conference here in Hospet on Thursday, she said as per norms three names had been referred to the Governor and the latter had approved Pandit Taranath's nomination.
