<p>Alva's Institute of Engineering and Technology department of business administration will organise a workshop on 'Ease of doing business in India and Karnataka' at the college on April 4.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Alva's MBA department Professor in Economics G V Joshi said that the workshop will have a policy impact, particularly because it will take a comparative view of India and Karnataka. The workshop will bring to the fore, the need for making a study of the regulatory environment of business at the district level. Separate sessions will be conducted on Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">NMAMIT, Nitte Principal Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar will inaugurate the workshop. AIET, Mijar Principal Dr Peter Fernandes and Industries and Commerce, DIC Udupi Joint Director Ramananda Nayak will be the guests of honour.</p>
