Urging the fulfilment of various demands the Ex-servicemen Association and paramilitary personnel staged a protest in front of Gandhi Mantapa in Madikeri on Friday.
Association President M G Satish said that the ex-servicemen have been staging a protest in New Delhi as well to grab the attention of the Central Government.
He meanwhile accused the state and the Central governments of exhibiting a dilly-dallying attitude in fulfilling the demands of ex-servicemen.
Protestors urged the authorities to bring the retired personnel of BSF, CISF and CRPF within the ambit of One Rank One Pension scheme.
The paramilitary staff should be provided facilities at par with Army personnel, they demanded.
Association secretary N M Bhimaiah, vice president P M Changappa, adviser S Anand, members Rajashekhar and Ramesh were present at the protest.
