Condemning Kathua, Unnao rape incidence, Cong to observe black day on April 17

The Congress party has decided to observe black day on April 17 condemning the Kathua and Unnao rape incidents.

Addressing a press conference here, the general secretary of All India Mahila  Congress Janet D'Souza said that the party workers would light candles on Sunday mourning the deaths.

She said that women and children were no more safe in the BJP ruled states.

"The Kathua and Unnao rape incidents have indicated that women and children are sure to suffer under the BJP government," she charged.
