EC directive for those without voter ID cards

According to a press release, the alternative documents include passport; driving license; PAN card; identity cards issued by State/Central Government and public sectors for their employees; pass books of banks (public sector), or post office consisting photograph; documents like khata etc consisting photograph; caste certificates with photo issued for SC, ST and OBC; pension certificate having photo; widow pension; ID cards of soldiers; arms license having photo; certificate for physically challenged issued by the authorities concerned; job cards issued under National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS); smart cards with photo of the persons covered under health insurance; students ID card; ration card with photo issued before February 28, 2009; CSD canteen card given to the ex-servicemen; Sandhya Suraksha ID card;ID card of the employees of MCC, TMC, Gram Panchayat; ID card issued by government for aged people; computerised ration card issued to the head of the family, Smart card of Health Insurance scheme.
