Shahid Kapoor is tired of his middle class existence (portrayed by nonstop coffee-sipping sessions led by papa Anupam Kher) and wants to own a company one day.

So he teams up with Vir Das, who chases bikinis, and Meiyang Chang, who worships booze. Then there is love interest Anushka Sharma, who has ditched her demure Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi days and is all cleavage and kisses this time.  She is quite liberal too. When Shahid leaves home after a fight with his idealistic father, Anushka welcomes him with open arms and a condition: No wet towels on the bed.

First-time director Parmeet Sethi uses an intelligent premise, but the movie never takes off. So you are left in some bad company whose motto is money and more money. The four make a quick buck, importing shoes and dodging customs duties. But then Manmohan Singh decides to cut duties on shoes and thud goes their business. The con brigade is off to the US for some more shady deeds. This time, it is leather gloves. The first deal fetches a million and they splurge it on clothes. And the badmaash company wears Prada.

The first half is paced well while everything goes wrong in the next. Shahid starts mouthing lines like “I’m god” and you know it is all going downhill. The friends bond well, sadly the film falls apart.
