JOIN USSpeaking to press persons here on Wednesday, Bank President A Shivananda Karkera said that the bank has been serving the public since 1925 and in 1971 it got the status of a cooperative bank. It has 12 branches with 30,722 shareholders.
Former Union minister B Janardana Poojary will inaugurate the new branch while General Manager of Corporation bank B R Bhat will preside over the function. Karnataka Yakshagana Bayalata Academy President Kumble Sundar Rao and MCC Commissioner Dr K N Vijay Prakash will inaugurate strong room and computers respectively. Former Mayor K Ashraf and KCS Co-operative Society Assistant Manager B K Salim will be the chief guests.
