And while you are not really in the mood to prepare an entire meal, you can’t really do without food either. So for those late evening hours, in between lunch and dinner, it is always better to have a something stocked up in your kitchen.

Fruits seem to be a convenient option at such times. Thought healthy, these are not always the most attractive option. Another quick snack for such times is the good milkshake. Blend some strawberries, chikku, mango or the ever available banana with milk for a fruity delight. If  milkshakes are not your thing, frozen yoguhurt, may work out better for you. Healthy and tasty, these come in a variety of flavours and tastes as good as ice-creams.

For people who want to steer clear of the ‘milky-way’, sandwiches would be a good choice too. From the good old cucumber sandwiches to a more elaborate ones, they are a tasty way to kill the evening hunger pangs. The best way to go is to keep a couple of spreads like cheese-chilli, honey-mustard, thousand island, barbecue at your home, so that you can play mix and match while having a filling snack. But for the lazy birds out there, if nothing else works, just pop up some buttered pop-corn for your noisy stomach.
