Lokayukta Superintendent Vishwanath (Anant Nag) is suspended on fabricated charges and is now forced to be the house-husband, doing almost all the household chores, thanks to an overly enmpowered maid Radha (Tara). His patience wears off when his family including wife Malavika (Suhasini) and three daughters treat him like the doormat. His friend lawyer Murthy (Rangayana Raghu) suggests a plan to reverse the situation. With hilarious results.

“Eradane Maduve” comes close to the perfect farce, replete with deadpan humour. Dinesh Baboo has not gone overboard for the most part. Indeed, the film morphs into any one of the countless mind-numbing tele-dramas that pass off as plays on stage.

The still-handsome Anant Nag takes the audience on a delightful roller-coaster, with Sharan and Suhasini tagging along. Rangayana Raghu is restricted, Tara loud and Jennifer subdued - a delightful situation for a change. The biggest culprit however is the climax which seems forced. Still, like second marriages go, “Eradane Maduve” is not a total loss.
