Teen claims dead snake hubby in previous life

When Sethi’s 14-year-old daughter Kuni(name changed) saw the dead reptile, she started crying bitterly saying that the snake was her husband of previous birth and her family would pay a big price for killing her husband who had come to stay with her.

“She was a normal girl. But when she saw the dead snake she started crying and abused her family members for their act. She said she was a snake in her previous birth and the dead snake was her husband. Therefore, the snake had entered into their home to stay with her,” a local television channel quoted one of Sethi’s relatives as saying.

As the news of the girl’s behaviour started spreading in the area, villagers rushed to Sethi’s house to have a glimpse of the snake and the girl. Scared over the development, Sethi’s family members took away the dead snake and threw it in a nearby field.

The angered teenager ran to a nearby temple and wept bitterly which prompted her family members to seek the help of a local “tantrik”. The girl reportedly got normal only after the tantrik arranged a special puja and performed some rituals.
Though the girl has stopped her abnormal behaviour, the episode continues to be a major topic of discussion in the entire district. Doctors said, the girl had some mental issues.
