PGCET entrance test on Sunday across State

According to an official release, nearly 13,000 candidates are expected to appear for the exam to be conducted at 19 centres spread across the State.

Candidates seeking admission to ME / MTech / MArch / MBA (Infrastructure Management) programmes under UVCE, UBDTCE and VTU will be writing the test in the morning session between 11 am and 1 pm and candidates seeking admission to ME/MTech programmes under Mysore and Kuvempu Universities, will be writing the test in the afternoon session between 2 pm and 4 pm on Sunday.

Number of candidates appearing for the entrance tests - UVCE, UBDTCE and VTU, are 12,636 for full time and 261 for part time, and Mysore and Kuvempu Universities - 111 for full time.

Exempted

Apart from the above 1,020 GATE full time and 01 GATE part time candidates who have valid GATE score have also applied for the seat selection. These GATE candidates are exempted from appearing for the entrance test.

Approximately 4,400 seats are available for selection to ME / MTech and MBA (Infrastructure Management) courses including all branches.

All candidates who have applied for PGCET- 2010 are hereby informed to submit required documents like attested photocopies of markscards, caste certificate, experience certificate, no objection certificate for part time and no objection certificate for sponsored category to the PGCET Cell on or before July 24, 2010.

No individual intimation will be sent for submission of the required documents by the PGCET Cell.
