Q I am 15 years old and I have extremely oily skin. My face is covered in acne. What should I do?

A Pimples or acne is a common skin condition caused by hormonal changes in the body. Acne is most common during adolescence/ puberty. It is more common in women than in men during adulthood. As tempting as it may be, do not squeeze, pinch, rub or touch your pimples. Drink 8- 10 glasses of water as it is essential to cleanse your skin.
Here are few home remedies:

* Make an orange peel paste by grinding dry orange peels with water and apply on the affected area. Wash off after 10 minutes.

* Mix lime juice and rose water in equal portions and apply on affected area. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse with cold water.

* Apply a ripe tomato or cucumber pulp on pimples and leave it on for an hour. This mask acts as as astringent and coolant.
