JOIN USPDP chairman Abdul Nasser Madani will be arrested at the earliest, said Thiruvananthapuram range IG A Hemachandran after holding discussions with Bangalore police joint commissioner Alok Kumar on Monday evening.
The two of them later met DGP Jacob Punnoose who also assured Kumar of all assistance in this connection. It is known that six flight tickets have been booked by the Karnataka police in an airline for taking Madani to Bangalore on Tuesday.
Earlier, the PDP chairman’s lawyer said that Madani would surrender in the magistrate court at Karunagapally in Kollam district which is the court nearest to his ancestral house, at the earliest on Tuesday. In the event of a surrender, the Karnataka police would approach the court and apprise it of the arrest warrant.
