Aradhana mahotsav of Raghavendra Swamy

Venkateshacharya, manager of the Sri Brindavana Sannidhana of Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamy mutt told reporters on Saturday that the temple will be open throughout the day for the devotees on all the five days.

 Daily rituals will begin at 5 am with Suprabhatha, Panchamrutha Abhisheka, Padapooja, Sahasrarchana and kanakabhisheka. The maharathotsava would be held on Aug 27 at 9.30 am. MLAs S A Ramdas and H S  Shankaralinge Gowda and State organising secretary of Congress Sevadal G Ravi will be chief guests.
Mayor Sandesh Swamy, editor of Star of Mysore and Mysooru Mitra K B Ganapathy, Actor and director S Shivaram, social worker Pejawara Vishwanath and Purohith Krishnacharya would be felicitated on the third day of the programme.

Musical evening
The musical programme or Pancharathrotsava will see rendering of the best chants with Prarthanotsava, Dhwajarohana, Gopooja, Dhanadanya pooja and Swasthivachana on first day at 6 pm.

On Aug 25, musicians from Saraswathi troupe will present Layanadathraya Tharanga Sangeetha at 7 pm and Kumari Hamsini and team will present a vocal devotional songs at 8 pm on the third day. Akashavani and Doordarshan artiste Vidwan Krishnamurthy and team will perform Nadalahari at 7 pm on Aug 27.

Vidwan Krishnamurthy Balu and team of CFTRI will also render devotional songs starting 6 pm on Aug 28. Vocalist Vidwan Nagendra Rao will perform light vocal between 7.30 pm and 10.30 pm on the last day of Pancharathryotsava.
