BJP govt is treating people equally: Minister

Addressing the gathering after welcoming people who joined BJP quitting other parties, on Monday at Kadur Banashankari community hall, he said that BJP government has stood by its promises made to backward communities like the Uppara, banjara, weavers, potters, washwerman and others. “The CM has provided Rs 1 crore for Uppara mutt in Hosadurga and Bangalore. He has also provided Rs 5 crore for Devaraj Urs Board,” Naidu said.

BJP State President K S Eshwarappa said that JD(S) Supremo H D Deve Gowda is trying to poison the minds of people from two communities. He is ridiculing Indian culture by supporting cow slaughter. “Awakened citizens of this country must sense the intentions of Deve Gowda behind such a move,” Eshwarappa said.  Taluk Panchayat former president Omkarappa and Vice-President Pushapa Rajanna among others quit the Congress and joined BJP.  Irrigation Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Actor Jaggesh, Chief Whip in State Assembly D N Jeevaraj among others were present.
