Spectra Logica unveils T-Finity

 
With the ability to pack-in 72 Terabytes of data in one square feet and 200 per cent more capacity (30,000 cartridges in a single library and 1,30,000 in one library complex), the library would enable enterprises and research establishments to archive and handle higher volume of data with easy scalability and availability, said Spectra Logic Vice President-International, Nicholas Harper.

Briefing reporters, he said, T-Finity takes a platform-approach, enabling customers to scale up the archive to the demands. The new system has duel robotics, redundant control and communications paths and multiple redundant components, which enables high exchange of workloads.”   Spectra Logic would prefer steady growth rather than dramatic expansions in India.
