Speaking at a press conference here on Monday, Vijay said that the movie ‘Gubbi’ starring Ajith in the lead role, will be released in about 50 theatres. The remake and dubbing rights of the movies have already been sold for Tamil, he said.
Expressing optimism about the success of the movie, Vijay said that Gubbi is a story about friendship, love and has a backdrop of action to keep the audience glued to their seats.
Vijay who has assisted director Prem for the past eight years, said that the story is based on the incident that occurred in the life of his friend.
With a complete makeover from his earlier character in ‘Patre Loves Padma’, the hero of the movie Ajith was confident that the movie would taste success. The movie also stars Mumbai-based actress Reema.
The cinematographer for the movie is M R Seenu, who has displayed his skills with the camera for super-hit Kannada movies such as ‘Jogi’, ‘Excuse Me’ and ‘Raj’.
