Party workers said that MLA C T Ravi has been the driving force and the catalyst for growth of BJP in the district. He also played decisive role in the victory of Dr Vishwanath in Kadur bypolls.
Stating that it was wrong on the part of the government to not give representation to the district in the cabinet especially when the district is confronted with burning issues like encroachment of land and naxalism, they demanded action to set right the situation soon.
