<p>Ranghabhoomi, Udupi, will be organising ‘Anandothsava-2018’ in the memory of late Kutpadi Anand Ganiga from April 20 to 23 at Muddanna Mantap at MGM College.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Ranghabhoomi general secretary Pradeep Kutpadi said that Alva’s Education Trust chairman Dr M Mohan Alva will inaugurate the drama fest. The inaugural ceremony will be followed by the staging of drama ‘Chitrapata’.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He added that litterateur Ambathanaya Mudradi will be honoured with the ‘Tallur Girija Dr Shivram Shetty’ Award which carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000. The second day would witness an interaction with the litterateur.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Litterateur Erya Lakshminarayana Alva will be the chief guest on the occasion. The interaction session would be followed by the staging of a drama, ‘Valivadhe’, by a team from Haveri.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The valedictory address will be rendered by theatre artistes and actor Mandya Ramesh. Drama ‘Marikadu’ will be staged on the occasion.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He said that the valedictory for the 10-day summer camp for children will be organised on April 20. The participants would perform drama, dance and other arts on the occasion. Rajyothsava award-winning actor from the district MS Bhat will be the chief guest, he said.</p>
