<p class="title">Two constables attached to DAR (District Armed Reserve), who had provided logistics help to the accused in the Kota Manooru double murder case were arrested on Monday. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Udupi Superintendent of Police Laxman Nimbargi said the arrested constables Pavan Amin and Virendra Acharya had been remanded in judicial custody till February 15.</p>.<p class="bodytext">With the arrest of DAR constables, the number of the people arrested for the brutal murder of Bharth and Yathish on January 26 rose to eight. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Pavan and Veerendra were close to Harish Reddy, Rajashekar Reddy, Mahesh Ganiga and Santhosh Kunder who had been arrested in the murder case.</p>.<p class="bodytext">After the murder of Bharth and Yathish on January 26, Pavan had helped in providing shelter for the accused at Kuchooru in Hebri.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Later, he had supplied SIM, mobile phone and cash to Harish Reddy on the following morning, Nimbargi said. </p>.<p class="bodytext">DAR Constables Veerendra Acharya and Pavan had also engaged a car for the accused men and through their contacts had provided accommodation for the men in Mallandooru in N R Pura in Chikkamagaluru district.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The constables also had assisted the accused in disposing off their mobilephones and others items, the SP added.</p>
