Bihar Assembly Election 2025: Axis My India and Today's Chanakya too give NDA an edge in exit polls

Axis My India and Today's Chanakya along with Kamakhya Analytics have released their projections, projecting a win for the NDA.

Following the exit polls by most analysts on Tuesday, two major agencies including Axis My India and Today's Chanakya along with Kamakhya Analytics have released their projections on Wednesday.

Continuing with the trend, all three of Axis My India, Today's Chanakya and Kamakhya Analytics have given an edge to the ruling NDA.

While majority of exit polls on Tuesday projected about 135 seats for NDA in the 243-seat Assembly, Axis My India predicted a narrow win for the alliance at 121-141. Further it projected 98-118 seats for the I.N.D.I.A. bloc and 0-2 seats for Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj. Other parties and independents were predicted at 1-7 seats.

Today's Chanakya predicted a big win for the NDA with 148-172 seats, while I.N.D.I.A was projected at 65-89 seats. Other parties, which includes the Jan Suraaj Party were forecasted to win 3-9 seats.

Kamakhya Analysis also predicted an overwhelming majority for the NDA with 167-187 seats, while giving the I.N.D.I.A bloc just 54-74 seats. Jan Suraaj Party was projected at 0-2 seats, while other parties were given 2-7 seats.

The two-phase voting in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 came to an end on Tuesday. The state recorded highest-ever voter turnout of 68.76 per cent in the second phase, surpassing 65 per cent that was witnessed in the first phase on November 6.

The result for the 243-seat Assembly will be out on November 14.

NDA, led by Nitish Kumar's JD(U) and BJP along with other parties, is being challenged by the I.N.D.I.A. bloc comprising of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress among other parties.

Giving the two alliances a competition is Prashant Kishor's newly formed Jan Suraaj.

While Nitish Kumar will continue to be the Chief Ministerial face for the NDA, the opposing alliance announced that Tejashwi Yadav will be at the helm if they win.
