Arsikere is an assembly constituency in Haasan district which was once a Congress bastion. But tables turned after 2008, with JDS leader K M Shivalinge Gowda's entry.
After winning three consecutive assembly elections in 2008, 2013 and 2018 in Arsikere, this year Gowda has resigned from the JDS and has joined Congress ahead of the assembly elections. Can JDS retain its constituency without Gowda this time? Here’s my ground report from Arsikere.
