TMC goons killed party worker: CPI(M)

In a sensational allegation, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has claimed that party workers were attacked by goons from the Trinamool Congress (TMC). The attack is said to have been taken in the Purba Bardhaman district in West Bengal.

CPI(M) district secretary has demanded the immediate arrest of the people involved in the alleged attack. Sheikh Kamrul, a party worker is said to have died in the alleged attack along with five others hospitalized.

Violence had earlier broken up in Asansol, West Bengal during the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha Polls which led to Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Babul Supriyo's car being vandalised.
