ACP Pradyuman bidding farewell to CID? Shivaji Satam’s iconic character set to die

Shivaji Satam’s iconic portrayal of ACP Pradyuman in CID is moving towards a tragic ending. Reports suggest that the series will soon say goodbye to its iconic character. According to India Today, actor Shivaji Satam's character will meet his end in a bomb blast accident in an upcoming episode.

A source informed India Today that in the upcoming episode, Barbussa, played by Tigmanshu Dhulia, will be seen planting a bomb to get rid of the CID team. While the other members are spared, ACP Pradyuman loses his life in the blast.

Dhulia made his return to CID after more than six years, taking on the role of the infamous and ruthless Eye Gang leader, Barbosa.

The CID cast has already shot the episode, which is expected to be out in coming weeks. Well, this is not the first time a key character has died in the show. A few characters have died and have returned to the show after a while.

CID, one of the longest-running hit TV shows, was relaunched earlier this year on Sony TV. Season 2 kicked off with its first 18 episodes on February 21, and new episodes are on Netflix and The show has also been recreated in an animated version, CID Squad – Naye Yug Ka Naya CID.
