Akshay odd-job Kumar is living a mundane life. One fine day, he discovers that he is the long-lost son of a diamond merchant in Bangkok.

Yippee! He is off to the palatial mansion with his bag and a bottle of blood. After all, he has to prove that he is Daddy’s Najayaz Aulad (DNA).
Wait, he is barking up the wrong tree. Dear dad — now dead — has already left his fortune to his canine heir called Entertainment.  Akshay howls in protest but is soon muzzled.

The golden retriever is the hero of the proceedings. But the poor creature isn’t even allowed a decent bow-wow. Instead, he is made to shed tears and mourn his master (Dalip Tahil, smiling from a wall for the most part).

Barring a few hilarious lines by Akshay’s Bollywood-crazy friend (Krushna Abhishek, who runs a DVD library called Mere Paas cineMaa Hain) — entertainment is strictly confined to the title.

And when Mithun Chakravorty, Johnny Lever, Prakash Raj and Sonu Sood come together to mouth some profanities, the viewer can’t help borrowing a few puns from the film itself — I Rajni can’t believe this! Sameera Reddy, steady, Govinda... Gosh! Entertainment has gone to the dogs.
