These roles must be kept separate,” he stressed citing popular series ‘Maharani’ as an example where there is a group of writers who work together and then report to the director.</p><p>Mukherjee expressed his interest in exploring regional cinema as well.</p><p>“We’re not adverse to working with small creators and directors,” he said, expressing his interest to work with new and young filmmakers. “Stars do matter for films but that is not the case for series. Content matters more here.” he added. </p>
