Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt took to Instagram on Sunday to share a few Behind the Scenes (BTS) stills from the shoot location of her film Gully Boy, which hit the screens two years ago. She wrote that she had a terrific time working on the movie and thanked the team for the memories.

The Zoya Akhtar-helmed Gully Boy revolved around the journey of a college student-turned-rapper, played by Ranveer Singh, and clicked with the 'Gen Y' audience due to its effective presentation. Alia essayed the role of the feisty Safeena and hit the right notes with her sincere performance.

The film had a strong cast that included Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz and Vijay Verma. It did well at the box office while receiving rave reviews from critics. The movie was selected as India's official entry to the Oscars but did not make the cut.

Alia, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. The Sadak 2 star will soon be seen alongside Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the pan-India movie Rise Roar Revolt (RRR), directed by SS Rajamouli. The film revolves around the fictional adventures of two real freedom fighters and is touted to be bigger than the Baahubali saga.

The magnum opus has a stellar cast that includes Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani and Ray Stevenson. The Raju Chacha hero will be seen essaying the role of a teacher/Guru in the biggie. RRR was supposed to be released during Sankranti but that did not happen due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is slated to hit the screens on October 13.

Alia is awaiting the release of the Karan Johar-backed Brahmastra, which will mark her first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor. It has a stellar cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan and Tollywood star Nagarjuna. Alia also has the hard-hitting movie Gangubai Kathiawadi in her kitty.
