Salman Khan confirms being part of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathan'

Salman Khan is likely to make a cameo as Tiger in 'Pathan'

Bollywood star Salman Khan confirmed on the latest episode of Bigg Boss 14 that he will be a part of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie Pathan, backed by Yash Raj Films. This will mark his third major collaboration with the 'Badshah' of Hindi cinema.

The two first teamed up for the 1995 classic Karan Arjun, which emerged as a big hit at the box office. The reincarnation saga featured them in the role of brothers and clicked with fans due to its engaging narrative.

SRK and 'Bhai' later reunited for the 2002 release Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam much to the delight of fans. The film, unfortunately failed to live up to expectations. It remains to be seen if the two are able to hit the right notes this time around.

Pathan has, either way, piqued the curiosity of the fans due to SRK's new avatar. The action-thriller reportedly revolves around the adventures of a spy, played by the Zero star, and has enough 'masala' to satisfy the masses. It stars John Abraham as the antagonist and will mark his first collaboration with the 'King of Romance'. It is likely to star Deepika Padukone as the leading lady.

While the details of Salman's role have not been revealed yet, the buzz is that he will be playing the popular character 'Tiger' in Pathan. The film is expected to hit the screens this year.

Salman, meanwhile, is going through a terrific phase on the work front. He will soon be seen in the eagerly-awaited Radhe, which marks his second consecutive collaboration with director Prabhdeva. It has an impressive cast that includes Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. The movie is expected to hit the screens this Eid.

He is expected to turn his attention towards Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, co-starring Pooja Hegde, after the release of Radhe. He also has Antim, featuring him in the role of a cop, and Tiger 3 in his kitty.
