<p class="title">Veteran actor Irrfan Khan on Monday admitted to being diagnosed with "rare disease" but said he would spell out details once investigations are through.</p>.<p class="title">Irrfan, 51, who acted in films like The Namesake, The Darjeeling Limited, Academy Award-winner Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi, New York, I Love You, The Amazing Spider-Man, Jurassic World, and Inferno, posted a message on Twitter.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"Sometimes you wake up with a jolt with life-shaking you up. The last 15 days, my life has been a suspense story. Little had I known that my search for rare stories would make me find a rare disease. I have never given up and have always fought for my choices and always will," the actor said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"My family and friends are with me and we are working it out the best way possible. In trying times, please don't speculate as I will myself share with you my story within week-ten days, when further investigations come with a conclusive diagnosis. Till then, wish the best for me!" he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The Rajasthan-born National School of Drama (NSD) alumnus is one of the actors successful in India as well as international cinema and has several awards to his credit.</p>
