Jacqueline Fernandez won't perform at IPL 2025 as mother remains in ICU

Sri Lankan beauty and Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez was scheduled to perform at the IPL 2025 match between the Rajasthan Royals and the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. However, the diva will now give the event a miss due to a medical emergency in the family.

“In these challenging times, Jacqueline has chosen to be by her mother’s side, and unfortunately will be missing performing at the IPL Ceremony,” shared a source close to the actress.

"Her mother is still in the ICU for observation, though her condition is steadily improving," the source concluded.

Jacqueline’s mother, Kim Fernandez, suffered a heart stroke and was hospitalised over the weekend. Upon hearing this news, Jacqueline cancelled all her commitments and rushed to Mumbai to be with her ailing mother.

Jacqueline’s family awaits further updates from the doctors as her mother undergoes the treatment. Meanwhile, Jacqueline was seen making visits between the hospital and her Bandra home regularly. Her inner circle, including Salman Khan, regarded as family, also came to see her mother at the hospital.

On the professional front, Jacqueline was last seen in Sonu Sood's Fateh. Apart from this, Jacqueline is busy working on Housefull 5 and other projects. She is also working on a music album that will be released soon.
