Actor Rashmika Mandanna took to Instagram on Friday to share a video from the shoot location of her maiden Bollywood movie Mission Majnu much to the delight of her fans. In the clip, she is seen gearing to begin work on what many feel is one of the most important projects of her career.
Mission Majnu is being directed by Shantanu Bagchi and revolves around a RAW operation in Pakistan. It features Sidharth Malhotra in the lead and will mark his first collaboration with the 'Karnataka Crush'. It has a strong supporting cast that includes Kumud Mishra and Sharib Hashmi.
Rashmika was supposed to make her Bollywood debut with the Shahid Kapoor-starrer Jersey but refused to take up the project as she felt she would not be able to do justice to the role. It remains to be seen whether Mission Majnu proves to be the ideal launch vehicle for her.

The 'Kodava Beauty', meanwhile, is going through a good phase on the work front. She was seen opposite Dhruva Sarja in the recently-released movie Pogaru, which opened to a good response at the Karnataka box office. The film, however, ruffled a few feathers with his 'sexist' storyline and massy Karabuu song.
She will soon be seen alongside Allu Arjun in the pan-India movie Pushpa, which features her in the role of a government officer. The biggie has been directed by Sukumar, who previously wielded the microphone for films such as Aarya and Rangasthalam. It was to feature Mahesh Babu in the lead but the Spyder hero opted out of it due to 'creative differences'
The actor is also set to make her Tamil debut with the eagerly-awaited movie Sulthan, which features Karthi in the lead. There have been talks of her teaming up with 'Megastar' Amitabh Bachchan for her second Hindi movie. The project might establish her as a top star in Bollywood if it materialise
