Actor Sonu Sonu Sood says that it is important for one to set aside at least two hours a day for fitness-related activities irrespective of his or her routine.

"I believe that there are 22 hours in a day. The remaining are for fitness. Being focused is the key," he told DH during an event organised to promote Britannia's new Tiger Krunch 'Krunch Khao, Punch Dikhao' campaign.

The 'Punjab Ka Munda', who began his acting career in 1999 with the Tamil films Kallazhagar and Nenjinile, took a while to make an impact in Bollywood but eventually found a foothold with the 2010 release Dabangg. The actioner featured him in the role of the antagonist 'Chedi' and proved to be the biggest hit of his career. The actor held his own against Salman Khan, garnering a great deal of attention with his chiselled physique.

The International project Kung Fu Yoga too proved to be a gamechanger for him as it marked his first collaboration with the iconic Jackie Chan. The film, which also featured Disha Patani in a key role, did well at the box office while receiving positive reviews.

Sood, meanwhile, will be hoping to better the big league with his upcoming movies.

The 'messiah' who helped stranded migrant workers return home during the Covid-19 lockdown will soon be seen essaying a key role in Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Prithviraj. The film is backed by Yash Raj Films and will hit the screens later this year.

He also has the Telugu movie Acharya, featuring Chiranjeevi in the lead, in his kitty. The film has been directed by ace filmmaker Koratala Siva and revolves around the journey of a saviour. The biggie features Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady and marks her second collaboration with the Sye Raa hero. It is slated to release in theatres in May.

There have been talks of him playing the villain in the Telugu movie NBK 106, featuring Balakrishna in the lead.
